SPARK AUG 13 – 17 is a one-of-a-kind, annual celebration of contemporary arts, media and design. It is organised by Wintec’s School of Media Arts in collaboration with artists, practitioners, academics and educators from the creative industry community. Spark encourages the feeding of minds and exposes students and arts practitioners to a broader understanding of the global arts domain. The 2012 Lineup includes Peter Robinson (NZ), Jude Rae (Aus), David Farrier (NZ), Anthony Goicolea (NY), Jonathan Gurvit (Argentina), Judy Darragh (NZ) and more.

Spark is a combination of presentations, workshops and side events. It brings to the table a mix of informative and creative presentations by international and local guests, as well as exhibitions, forums, fringe events and live performances.

All events take place in The Gallagher Hub Events Centre in Hamilton, New Zealand and supporting venues.
